That’s my magic number.
If I go on a walk and I make it to 20.000 steps before I stop, not just my whole day, but my whole week will be better.
7.000 steps per day and I feel okay.
15.000 steps per day and my body is good.
20.000 steps in one go and it’s like a coaching session.
This connected amount of time, about 3-4 hours, with doing nothing else. No distractions. No phone, no emails. No multitasking. No other task in sight.
My mind can sort itself with no noise.
20.000 steps gives me the chance to let my mind sort whatever it wants to sort through. To let my mind come up with solutions to questions that I had or questions that I didn’t know I had.
A gentle 3-4 hours walk. A mind cleanser. A problem solver. My magic number. I love walking. Even if it is just up and down the road. Today was only road. And it was a bliss.
Today I had 20.000 steps.
